Kanzashi Snowflake Ornament Mini

Tsumami Kanzashi is an ancient Japanese art form dating back to the beginning of the Geisha. Squares of silk would be folded into triangles and other shapes to create the elaborate floral hair decorations they wore and still wear today. This version calls for folded squares of double face satin ribbon to create Christmas ornaments. The mini version of the Kanzashi Snowflake Ornament is created from 12 pieces of folded ribbon excluding the hanger with either a plastic snowflake or half pearl adornment in the center. Approximate size is 2-1/4″
