Kanzashi Angel Ornament Mini

Tsumami Kanzashi is an ancient Japanese art form dating back to the beginning of the Geisha. Squares of silk would be folded into triangles and other shapes to create the elaborate floral hair decorations they wore and still wear today. This version calls for folded squares of double face satin ribbon to create Christmas ornaments. The smallest of the angels available, it’s 2-5/8″ high, 2-1/2″ wide (wing span), and 3/4″ deep. It’s created from 3 pieces of ribbon excluding the bow and hanger. Adorned with a halo, bow, and a bead pendant, this is the perfect sized Kanzashi Angel for smaller trees.
