Kanzashi Reindeer Ornament Mini

Tsumami Kanzashi is an ancient Japanese art form dating back to the beginning of the Geisha. Squares of silk would be folded into triangles and other shapes to create the elaborate floral hair decorations they wore and still wear today. This version calls for folded squares of double face satin ribbon to create Christmas ornaments. This adorable little reindeer is made with 12 ribbon squares. Size is approximately H 2-3/4″ x W 3-1/2″ x D 1/2″. Kanzashi minis are perfect for mini trees and make cute package ties.
