Small Ribbon Angels are created with doubled over wired florist ribbon. The folding technique for making the skirt is an adaptation of Tsumami Kanzashi. Each angel sports a bow with a rhinestone center, a halo, and ribbon wings. Size is 2-1/2″ tall making it perfect for small trees and package ties. As a side note, this design came out of having an overabundance of wired ribbon remaining from other projects. Not one to waste anything, I mulled over what to do with the excess ribbon for close to a year before this idea just popped into my head one day. They have turned out to be very popular with my customers and I now have three times the ribbon I started with.
