Ribbon Angels are created with doubled over wired florist ribbon. The folding technique for making the skirt is an adaptation of a Tsumami Kanzashi fold. Each angel sports a bow with a, a halo, and ribbon wings created from the ribbon trimmed off when making the skirt pieces. Size is 4-1/2″ tall making it perfect for your tree or any gift exchange. As a side note, this design came having an overabundance of 2-1/4″ wired ribbon left over from other projects. Not one to waste anything, I mulled over what to do with the excess ribbon for close to a year before this idea just popped into my head. These angels have turned out to be hugely popular with my customers and I now have three times the ribbon I started out with. There are many more colors available than show. E-mail me if you are looking for a specific color. I can send photos of what I have.
